The text in these works is sampled from archival material that has been censored (the same magazine referred to in the Sumer's Still Life with Argot Exhibition). The card forms are a reference to a German kids game which stars an error devil who teaches kids how to avoid mistakes in language.

These have only been show as part of an open studio event, in this instance they were shown horizontally, tiled together as per the image attached. They pair vertically (image also included of this) but am open to discussion of how they could configure in smaller groups. Also, they don’t need to be horizontal – this was just an early experiment with working that way that fed into the plinth works.
